Second cousin's son is turning 21. He works as a mechanic year round at the local ski resort, loves to mountain bike, snowboard, and his dog. I'd prefer to stay away from anything alcohol related.

if he's outside a lot check out an electric vest that provides heat.

lot of other great suggestions here. didn't want to overload.

if you go with a knife, check out a Leatherman Multitool. not crap and comes in handy all the time.

Interesting suggestion worthy of further exploration. He's SUPER skinny with not an ounce of fat, so I'm guessing he's cold a lot lol.

sure thing, hope he enjoys whatever you get him.

a specialized gift card is nice too, imo. maybe to REI or any store he frequents for skiing, biking, etc.

or just a custom hoody with his dog.

guys are pretty simple, get him something he is already interested in and you'll be pretty set.
