I'd like to say this is your problem here, but it's most likely White liberals. They do not think about others around them. Their rights are all that matters to them. That being said, are you certain it was the not the non Whites?

And when they do think of others they think everyone else is just like them. They may even believe they are providing entertainment.

I think it definitely could have been, especially since there are more pakis of the Sikh variety around here.
