We went to black bear diner because our house is torn apart with no relief in sight. Wife and Son got the prime rib special. I got turkey. Wife complained her prime rib was too done, so she ate my turkey and I ate her prime rib. They got pumpkin pie for desert, I got this...layered desert. Whip cream, brownie, chocolate moose, layered twice.

yup. She's gotten prime rib out a few times and EVERY time she says medium rare and they cook all the pink out. They refuse to go down to rare. I told her next time just let me cook a tri tip or something at home instead

The best prime rib I've ever had which is kind of funny was Outback Steakhouse. I don't really eat cattle beef at all anymore but last night was a special circumstance. Mostly because my aunt and uncle would have uninvited me if I asked for something different. I'm not a veggie but I just stick to to leaner meats. My local grocery store which is great has ground venison, elk, bison, yak and ostrich. Go figure.

Same as every year: traditional food. And every year it tastes better than last year it seems. Only thing different this year were the mints I had at church

Everyone else ate ham but I ate turkey. Homemade cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, corn... pretty much all the typical fixings. I am a redneck after all.

Chinese food from well known Chink place best knpwn for authentic Chinese over American Chinese. No one felt like cooking as we cooked Christmas Eve but had to many guests to have much for leftovers. It was fine.

I went to my aunts and uncle's house on Long Island and had prime rib with mashed potatoes and string beans with mushrooms. Then for dessert apple pie with vanilla ice cream. I just had water for a drink because I'm on the wagon again.
