Dante's Inferno? One single layer of that? Since its so many layers?...

The only Christian view I've ever heard of hell, is based upon that epic... Most often describing a single layer. Burning in a lake of fire...

Do you see it as something else?

I see it as forever alone... Not alive. Aware and every other soul aware of you, yet 100% uncaring of you to the point of unwilling to even acknowledge you, while showing they fully engage in a community without you. Maybe our hell's are specialized based upon our sin, very differently than Dante ever considered.

When we die we are taken through life and feel everything we've afflicted onto others, good and bad through their pov.

So in essence, we make our own hell... or your own heaven.
