You can edit your own programming with practice and hard work. Like Ben Carson did by reading and reading and working hard till he went from a lazy student to a top Neurosurgeon. I did my own personally since I was far from what I wanted to be. I laughed at self help books because only action and repetition can change you, sure you can't become the stud or the bad ass in town since that requires certain natural physical characteristics, but you can become successful if you don't give up in business and you just need drive and common sense and the ability to learn from your mistakes.
