Ding ding ding. This is the right answer. I'm not allowed to shave because my wife and daughter tell me I look like I'm 20 without a beard. My 19 year old daughter hates people thinking that I am her older brother.

I could shave it. They won't be happy, in much the same way that I would not be happy if my wife cut her hair short. If I don't want to be unhappy because of my wife cutting her hair, why would I make her unhappy by shaving off my beard?
