I bought a yogurt maker a few months ago. I also bought a book called Super gut by William Davis. My yogurt is very good but I have lots to learn.
I have been doing mesophilic yogurt lately out of laziness. The texture is weird but I've gotten used to it and it is better if you heat the milk before fermenting it.
Ah, the raw milk. I'm using organic half and half. Cooked @ 99° for 36 hours. I flavor it with strawberry jam, honey and vanilla or lemon, vanilla, honey. I eat 1/2 a cup every morning.
