I have 4 dogs, daughter has 3. We take them frequently to the mountains and while they are mostly obedient, sometimes one will take off when distracted. We've had a few close calls. Any input is appreciated.

It is expensive, for sure. I run the TT mini on my dog, it was expensive. The controller is expensive. You gotta break it down to how much is your dog worth? My dog and his training is worth every damn penny that setup cost me. And when he is gone and I get a new dog well then he will be sporting that same collar. You're gonna need the remote and a collar for every dog in your pack. If you're serious about wanting to keep your dogs safe then you will see the value.

That’s just the thing, if it prevents even one dog from getting lost, it is absolutely worth it times 7 lol. And I can probably pare that down to 4. Two of my pack are pretty geriatric and are never far away, and one in the pack is a sissy boy (the Rottweiler, go figure), and won’t leave his human mama’s side. Thanks again for the info, greatly appreciated.
