Every door is squeaking again. I first hit them with spray silicone which blasted black shit that dropped and made a mess.

Just a couple drops of oil does the trick. I pull the pin out, put on a couple drips of oil and rub it all over the hinge pin and put it back in.

I've used gun oil successfully before. Hoppes, while not being a very good gun oil, worked wonders on the squeaky door outside an old apartment.

Anything will work. I use tool oil because that's what's in my kit.
