If he's occasionally lurking, he is alive and well enough. Pic8 has worked flawlessly for me as needed while he's been away. Coincidence? Lol!

Pic8 has had a fallback to Poal server for quite some time, and you can see the red text telling you when you open a pic8 link (image or album) expando. We are supposed to add another private API for album upload so you don’t have to open Pic8 and can do it directly from a create post page or comment.
