I checked "hand therapy squeeze balls" on Amazon, seem to range $10-$20 for 3 balls. Some offer 3 different densities in one package.
Yes, you should try to remedy that issue. People have been known to develop carpal tunnel syndrome from repetitive minute hand motion, mouse work will do it, especially if your wrist/forearm is resting on the sharp edge of your desk or other poor ergonomics like chair height, armrest height, etc.
Learning the hard way. Thanks for the info.
I just realized squeeze balls could further aggravate the nerves in your carpal tunnel if they are the actual issue. If the tunnel or nerves are inflamed, they can make your hand feel cramped, hard to relax too. Forgive me if you knew all this, they drilled ergonomics into our heads at work years ago. Carpal tunnel was pretty common before the big corporate training push to avoid it in the late '80s.
Can’t trust anything.
I’ll say, the worst of this is holding triggers of lawn tools. I’ll get a break because of winter coming on, but after a day of trimming, edging, and using the blower leads to a weeks of uncontrollable hand cramps.
Coming to grips (pun intended) with middle age woes is a bitch.
