Got an old Thinkpad that's soon retiring from gaming and I've been thinking about giving OpenBSD a try. I've been using various Linux distros for almost 5 years now (mostly Debian-based ones) and the BSD system doesn't seem too different from Linux. Is it worth a shot?

You might want to install in a VM first. BSD sometimes doesn't play nice.
