From my research it most likely began when the Illuminati was created in 1776. The Statue of Liberty is actually a statue commemorating Satan's release from his chains. The dark ages are what the satanists call the time of the millennial Kingdom. Because to them it was the dark ages. I'm more than willing to go into greater detailed discussions on this and why I currently believe this. I'm fairly new to preterism and I'm still digging deeper. However it would explain tartaria, the mud floods and a lot of why the world is the way it currently is.
