What makes a cat a cat? What what is the very best part of the cat?

What makes a cat a cat? What what is the very best part of the cat?

The eyes.
The ears.
The tail.
The claws.
The sounds.
The attitude.
The fuzzy fuzzy belly.
Some other part.
I'm more of a dog person.
Fuck you!
Fuck You!

I remember reading something a while back suggesting that a pheromone secreted by cats could make owners effeminate and gay. I realized that the people I know with cats tend to not be very masculine.

The substance started with a 'T' but I can't recall the name of it.

Edit: its a parasite. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toxoplasma_gondii I recall seeing a link to a chan post which suggested the parasite was linked to homosexuality. Officially the parasite is considered 'mostly harmless' in humans with the primary risk being a lowered immune system, although studies also indicate the infection can lead to sexual promiscuity in men, increased sexual arousal to fetishes (largely BDSM).

Maybe the homosexual link is a bit of a stretch, but it wouldn't surprise me to learn that more concerning effects are being withheld from the public.

The cats eyes, ears, and fast reaction time are pretty awesome though. They can rotate their ears to some degree.

This is the part where you take the parasite pill (archive.org) and learn lots of important things you did not want to know.

Seems archive is temporarily down.

Sorry about that. You can also get the file (files.catbox.moe) from catbox.

It's pretty fucked up (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov) and looks like there's no way to rid yourself of it.

I harbour hope that we can keep them at bay with regular anti‐parasitic treatments, but they are nasty and pervasive.

it's not much of a stretch. the parasite wants to spread and spreads through feces, so it's not unimaginable that it causes coprophilia and related conditions including homosexuality.

lol, enough with that. My cats have never had it, no one I know with cats have had it. My vet laughed because it's so rare. The stats are lies when they claim 65% of cats have or have had it. My vet has literally never had a case in her 25+ years. Never heard of it "turning the guys gay" lol

Do they actively check for it regularly? Is it something that's easy to detect reliably?
