Sometimes you need to have something to keep it in place with wind, rain and all and these commercial gels and 'pomades' are all full of chemicals.

There are two acceptable hairstyles for men; neatly styled medium length hair or razor shaved head. Anything else and we are deporting you to Africa.

Viking hair?

We'll depot those to Greenland.

I have a really good clipper. My head looks shaved with a slight shadow. The stubble keeps my cap or hoodie in place. It's like Velcro.

That's only downside to shaved, hoodies won't say up in the wind.

What clippers do you use? I was thinking about buying my husband a new pair for Father's Day.

Can't go wrong with Wahl. They have sets ranging from $25 (us) up to $250. They also have professional pieces that are upwards of 250 for 1 such as T-Liners if you're looking to spend that much.

I usually buy the $40-80 set ups and they last for about 2 years before needing sharpening, replacement of blades, or have a slowing motor. I cut my own hair every Sunday and recommend always keeping the clippers oiled.
