I use coconut oil. No chemicals. No smell. It's edible. It's probably the main ingredient in most pomaids.

Noted, hmmm. Also, if you have a dog with floppy ears, dilute apple cider vinegar in water and use that to scrub the ear. It's working great on my dog who's got ear problems.

Baby lotion with out the extra chemicals (so definitely no Johnson & Johnson) for a light hold with matte finish. Aveeno lotion for medium hold slight sheen finish. Beeswax for watersports or beach time with max hold and high sheen.

I go through long/short phases as well. Didn't get a haircut throughout the covid shit because fuck it. It got down to the bottom of my shoulder blades. Golden brown shimmering waves. It's nice and then I get sick of it and lop it all off.

Castor oil and coconut oil together is wonderful for the hair. I usually add a few drops of rosemary oil to it for scent and helps repel mosquitos. Research Barbra O'Neill. She is a healer that uses only natural medicinals.

Be advised, it is oily. It is more or less a hair treatment. I usually do it before bed and wash it out in the morning. For male hair, it will leave a nice texture to be more manageable throughout the day.

I have a really good clipper. My head looks shaved with a slight shadow. The stubble keeps my cap or hoodie in place. It's like Velcro.
