When I think of Poal and Boone, I think of a man (Poal) trying to remove a tick from where he can't reach it between his shoulder blades. Naw I see it more as, white men are so good to their farm equipment that when Boone's Memaw told him about her time as a slave he got jealous because she was treated better by them than he was treated by his employers. Thus began the search for a good farm to take him, but he couldnt find what he was looking for so Poal having a high population of white males is good enough.
