I think some of this can be affected by posture.

Something kind of random I’ve noticed recently is that I can kiss my dad on his head.

As a younger man, and if you saw my grandparents (Dad’s parents) you wouldn’t know how this happened because paw-paw was 5-8 and maw-maw was 5’.

Dad had to be over 6’1” as a younger man. His brother, my uncle, was like 6’3” (he has passed).

At my peak, in my early 20’s, I was like 5’10”.my degenerate dating app days, of course I was listing myself as 6’. I’m in my 40’s now, so surely I’ve shrunk as well.

How am I able to pull dad in and kiss him on his head?

I was born 6'4", but by the time I turned 30, I noticed that i had shrunk to a mere 13 angstroms in height. You get used to it, but I really do miss being macroscopic sometimes.
