Basically they're something like a Bluetooth magic wand, with motion sensors, you flick the wand, and a treasure chest in the hallway, under the stairs (all over place) open or moves. There are statues that will come to life etc. It is really amusing for the kids, but much more enjoyable for the adults to see the kids so happy.
Ask you wife and kids of they have any, you can get suckered in the spend big bucks on them customizing the wands, the add on etc. So if you already have access to them, you'll save a lot of money. Also check online to see if anyone might be selling some. You would be so awesome in their eyes if when you get there, you pull out a wand, say "hey (grandkids names), watch this" flick the wand and something magical happens. Then you hand them the wand and tell them to see what other magic they can find. Sneak off while you're all getting checked in so you can test the wand first, then come back and take your grandkids to show them magic while you let their parents check in more easily.
There is also some paid quest thing they can go on, but if you get the wands, and they work, you can have a lot of fun with them when you're not in the water park area.
That's awesome info, thank you so much! I'm looking forward even more to it now!!
I forgot to film my kids when they were young doing that particular stuff at GWL. Please remember to get it on video so you will always be able to watch it again.
Much to my chagrin these girls do very little without a camera pointed at them. Thank goodness I didn't grow up like that.
