I've always been into hairy dudes and been made fun of for it. Both of my ex's had probably an average to light amount of body hair and they both shaved their chests and the one sometimes his legs. It never made sense to me.

Waxing and regular nair use along with laser treatment alongside a skin care regimen is what it takes not to get negative consequences so its costly. As a man, if I had a buttload of disposable income I'd probably get patchy sections on the back of my shoulders waxed and lasered, maybe my stomach too, it's very hairy and I've never heard straight women praise a hairy stomach, I'd leave my chest hair but a guy with sad patchy chest hair may not.

Guys in my generation have been into shaving our pubes, and by shaving I mean trimming cautiously, it helps regulate temperature prevents long pubes sneaking into the foreskin and tugging sharply, prevents hair pulling when sitting which could lead to infections and means not needing to wipe shit out of shag carpet as a friend once described his ass hair situation, for me this is gonna be TMI but I grow hair partway up my shaft and the ladies don't like it thus the nair knowledge, quick easy and pain is temporary, at this point its a non factor. I knew a guy who shaved his legs and wore shorts, it was weird and his reasons didn't add up.

I don't even do that. My beard is majestic according to the ladies... I shaved it off once, and the amount of women who suddenly weren't interested was astonishing. Thankfully it grows quick.

It seems there are women who hate facial hair and there are a far greater number of women who love it.

Shaving for swim meets is common. The top 10 swimmers are within split seconds of eachother, so the slight reducution in drag helps yield better times.

I noticed this trend in the MMA gyms mid 2000's. The highschool 'men' were shaving their arms, and you could feel it during training. Younger generation of women prefer less hair, and porn, I'm positive, has had it's influence.

I trim my legs and chest with a trimmer every few weeks it starts getting itchy and unruly otherwise. But God no I would never shave it. I figure 2 inch long leg and chest hair is a bit excessive so trimming is a necessity.

They may be homosexuals presenting a combination of masculine and feminine characteristics in an attempting to attract other homosexuals.

There was a movie called Breaking Away where bicycling was a metaphor for homosexuality. There was a scene where the main character shaved his legs, ostensibly to cut down on wind resistance, but was actually a metaphor for shaving the crack of his ass.
