I purchased some goods with a hundred dollar bill, case of beer and some smokes, if you must know. The young lady hands me my bills as usual, but for the small change she takes the back of my hand with with her free hand, caresses my palm with her fingers as she drops the coins in and then gives it a pat. I agree there are certain jobs, especially tip related that benefit from this, but cashiers aren't tipped. I think she gives a little extra attention because she wants to be noticed by those she has noticed. It's human nature. Without the extra touch, would anyone have remembered her?
