Weird thought this morning after I messed up and got water in my ear. When I was a child, I had tubes in my ears and had constant, painful ear infections. As a teen, I'd still get these ear infections and would see an ENT a few times each year. I vividly remember them flushing my ears and holding that little pan under my ear.
As a young adult, it was much less often.
Now at middle age, I realize I haven't had any issues with my ears in 15.....20 years? Seems weird. What would explain that?
When I was younger, I remember dreading the slightest pain in my ear because I knew it would get worse. Now, I don't even think about it (except for this morning) because it's not a part of my life anymore.
It's certainly a blessing. I'm just curious about what could explain it.
