Yeah, I get it. To lump all Native Tribes together is the over simplification of a multilayered, nuanced and complex issue. Did all indige get fucked over, regardless of their proclivities and behavior? Yep. Could the integration of stone age societies into a rapidly modernizing world have been handled more judiciously and empathetically? Yep. The monolithic Nobel Savage myth and painting all tribes or nations with the same wide brush is disingenuous. The Indians Wars devolved into wars of retribution and revenge despite the best intentions and efforts of more enlightened individuals on all sides.
