Not sure. Probably the indians? I refuse to believe "the good guys" won every major conflict throughout history. Of course, the winners write the history and they choose what to include. Knowing how much our government instigates things to be able to enact a new policy they desire, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the conflicts were initiated by DC some how.

Ah, this is where it gets tricky! They didn't have countries like Europe had. They did, but they weren't hard and fast borders is what I mean. They more or less had areas and they stayed in their areas. There was a study of wolves in Yellowstone, I think, and they found that the 4 or 5 packs stayed in their own areas and only lightly intruding on their neighbors area. Which is an interesting point that can be brought up in a debate with no borders faggots...but I'm digressing. This is probably how the indian nations were.
Of course, if you are able to find the actual history, the noble indian story is a farce. Very few tribes/nations were like that.
