Murderers and rapists should usually get the death penalty. If evidence is questionable at all give them life in prison but the rest should get the death penalty. They don't deserve to live and they definitely don't deserve to be set FREE after a certain number of years if they can't prove innocence. Right now we let rapists out with a slap on the wrist and I'm pretty sure not all murderers get life in prison or death penalty. That makes no sense.
