Did any of you notice the rockets get fired into the eclipse? I went to a small town in SEMO called Chaffee to view the eclipse. I miss that place. So very many Whites, but I digress. There were 2 jets (with contrails) incredibly high that we saw flashes come from. Then even faster contrails going in a different direction from the jets. We're guessing they were the APEP rockets. Try as we might we couldn't see the 3rd jet. Did anyone else notice them? It happened right after the eclipse reached maximum. All in all the whole experience was surreal.
