I'm literally in THE hot zone. People are traveling from around the world to where I live. There's all kinds of events and gatherings and stuff. I know people who have rented out their lake houses a year ago for group viewings of it. It's kinda weird. I've seen local t-shirts in grocery stores and gas stations saying they were here for the eclipse.
I'm going to laugh maniacally if it's raining that day.
But I'll also be bummed because I just so happen to live in the best place to see this amazing event and then NOT get to see it.
I'm going to be staying at my nieces in St Louis before heading to SEMO to attend a huge BBQ in my home town. You're in the Carbondale area? It's supposed to be near where they cross. I've heard they are supposed to be having some sort of fair? It's this correct?
