My scenario. Letting my neighbor build a lower water bridge on the back side of my land so he and his neighbor won't kill eachother.

He purchased the materials he found through craigslist. Found out there is no engineers involved. He didn't pull permits, didn't like the engineers price. Total violation of agreement. Took it upon himself to make it. He put poles in the ground didn't concrete them. The bottom of the bridge is made of railroad iron, and the top is a a steel cattle guard, welded together.

Is this safe for someone to drive on with a car, truck delivery trucks, or truck and trailer filled with heavy wood logs?

  2. Yes 100% on me and it straddles the rear property line.

  3. We are all off 1 private road. The neighbor in the middle can't get along with the guy behind her. Is trying to block him from access. We agreed to a bridge. The neighbor in the middle was pushing to do this because they have taking eachother to court and to get it resolved. We only agreed to a bridge using an engineer, and following his recommendations. Hiring the appropriate people. The engineer told them 27k and he will not use their materials. These people totally deviated from our requirements. I told them to cease work and have caution tape around it now.

The bridge was intended to be used to cross the creek.

  1. Atvs, Fed ex trucks, ups trucks, pickup trucks, cars, suvs, pick up trucks with trailers full of logs, dump trucks.

Plus I'm at the bottom of a mountain so during rain season, or when ice melts on the mountain the water is powerful running through the creek. These pics its low and calm. The bridge was bending when we stood on it. So I put caution tape around it.
