It's like, have you ever really looked into faeries? Like the actual ancient Irish lore surrounding them?
One of the legends is that they were the angels who were cast down from Heaven, but didn't align so perfectly with Lucifer that they went to Hell. But they hate being on Earth. They'd rather get back to Heaven.
So that's why they have an unnatural interest in humans. Humans have these things called 'souls', and if the soul is manipulated correctly, it can travel back to Heaven. Maybe if they got ahold of a soul, they could do the same thing. Maybe if they took a child and replaced it with one of their own, they could learn something from it.
And these faeries, there is one important thing about them. They are liars and tricksters, they shape-shift and pretend to be things they are not.
But it isn't just faeries, and it isn't just old Irish folklore. For example...
well, thats an interesting thought! I did read an article yesturday on pygmy people, small offbrand humans. theres one for many different species of anything on the planet. plants, bugs, animals have a smaller version of themselves growing somewhere. There is speculation that disease and war killed off the Arian ones, and theres rumors that some of them have hidden civilizations in the earth. One rumor also leads you to think these people bred with some europeans resulting in the irish with firey red hair, quick to anger and quickly appeased. If what youre saying is true, that would lead us down the rabbit hole that perhaps, just maybe, the reason the rumor spread that gingers dont have souls is that they bred with a species that dont have souls. I just connected those dots, damn, I hope i'm wrong about that one!
Hidden cave dwelling races could possibly have tech beyond our comprehension and could have UFO's and abduct people. Perhaps what youre saying is true, gha lee, that makes my skin crawl! I would rather think these people are benevolent and not jealous of our humanity!
