Yes. It's Grilled Cheese and something. Adding an ingredient doesn't take away from the cheese being there.

when you go to subway and get cheese on your sub and get it toasted, is that grilled cheese?

[–] 3 pts

No. That's a toasted sub with cheese on it.
It's not a grilled cheese unless cheese is the main ingredient.

[–] 1 pt

Voted nah, but I would qualify that it can still be a grilled cheese if the addition is a tomato slice. Don't like it that way personally, but I wouldn't say it's not grilled cheese.

[–] 1 pt

yeah I agree with that. tomato slice is an accepted grilled cheese variant

[–] 1 pt

No.

And anyone who says otherwise is some kind of terrorist commie transvestite!

Only if the meat is bacon, and it has lettuce and tomatoes too. In a double decker sandwich.

I'm going with yes but Only if I has one or two more ingredients than cheese.
I make grilled cheese for dinner or lunch and for me and the kids it's usually just cheese for my husband I'll usually add a slice or two of lunch meat ham and I still called it a grilled cheese.

[–] 4 pts

That's called a grilled ham & cheese.

[–] 1 pt

It's a Grilled Cheese with Meat and Vegetables.

However;

The Cheese needs to be 50% or more.

Once the Cheese is less than 50% - it then becomes a Grilled Sandwich with Cheese.

A modified one, so yes.

Voted yes, because it could be. Not that it is but it could be.

Grilled Cheese with ham or bacon I'd argue is still grilled cheese.
