Is she seeking a degree that is useful (e.g. science, tech, engineering, medicine), or a degree in leftist indoctrination?

Seconding this. If it's not STEM, one has no business going to college - aka glorified highschool.

[–] 0 pt

Yes, Science based but she really doesn't know what she wants to do.

Then she has absolutely no business going to college.

Let me explain this in crayon: any random McJob will earn her $15/hr. Call it $30k a year of wages. College will cost her $30k. That's an opportunity cost of $60k a year (spending $30k instead of earning $30k). If she has her heart set on becoming a nurse or a chemical engineer, then college is reasonable. ABSOLUTELY do not spend $60k a year on "she doesn't know". That's fucktarded.

Lots of hospitals will pay nursing student tuition in return for a year or two of working at the affiliated hospital. If it's a tertiary center where lots of experience in icu, trauma, and o.r can be gained, it's worth it.

Tell her to go into nursing for "first assist" operating room nurse or even better, physician's assistant. She'll make six figures right out of school.

Warm and dry or warm and humid? warm and dry....doesn't really exist anymore

[–] 1 pt

Humidty doesn't seem to matter. TN/KY might be a good idea.

Try University of San Paulo. It's one of the top universities in the world, less costly.

Looool aka niggerland

Community college first. Let her grow up a bit, don't pay thousands of dollars for level 100-200 classes. Niggers, browns of every race and anti-White hatred.

Look also at some of the small catholic colleges.

[–] 1 pt

Yep, that is what I am going to push.

Does she want a 4 year vacation or a safe and hopefully successful and productive education? Mostly white and safe would include North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming...not warm.

[–] 1 pt

Don't think she is expecting it to be a vacation, just experiencing something different. I am pushing the safe part as she is invincible as most young ones feel they are.

You need to conduct some urgent parenting. "The college experience" is how you end up with debt, indoctrination to hate you, and a worthless degree.

[–] 2 pts

yep, working on getting her a low limit credit card, ensuring she pays off her balance monthly and starting from there...

I'll echo what other astute commenters have said ...if she is after a degree in a specific marketable discipline, college is necessary and worth the time and money. My daughter is an attorney working in health compliance. My son is an electrical engineer. Both are doing very well. Another family member got a 4 yr. degree in 'marketing'. He is delivering packages for Amazon. His dad tried to convince him to get a trade school degree for HVAC or electrician, but he didn't take the advice.

Nod, she likes money but she is trying to figure out what she wants to do. Lawyer would be a great idea but not sure she is ready at this point to commit to that much school. Marketing today for a white guy is a tough road, have to find the right place and be aggressive is growing his skills supporting it. Finding a mentor in the business is a good idea to course correct that.

I don't mean this in a rude way, but why does she want to go to college?

[–] 4 pts

Maybe she's looking for a husband. Nothing wrong with a farm boy from the Dakotas.

$100k in college expenses are a shitty dowry

[–] 1 pt

Because she is like me, she is bored in life but she does not see her potential as an unchallenged teenager.

Look for technical colleges in Appalachia or the Ozarks.

Funny, I was thinking Arkansas, good Idea. Friend loves there and loves it. She has a garden almost year round.

[–] 1 pt

I also like Arkansas, though the northern half of the state is the only part that's worth a damn. The eastern and southern parts of the state are just an northern extension of Louisiana.

I went to Appalachian State!

Start at community college and figure out what she wants to do. Get an associates, then transfer to college. Saves a ton of money, and usually gets better teachers.
