I'm 2 months in this time. I've done straight carnivore before but had some deal breaking gastrointestinal unpleasantness and loss of strength last time around. Transition periods are always a bit of a bitch, but some are flat out untenable. This time was a comparative breeze, but I had been carni-centric for a couple of years. To transition fully, I just dropped the fruits and fermented veggies, backed off on the cheeses and ramped up the meat ante.
My labs (just snapshots on time, really) have historically been stellar. Total Cholesterol is high, but my ratio is rockstar. My doc is a buddy of mine and knows my lifestyle, so backs off on the Standard Of Care song and dance recommendations. I've had an arterial plaque scan and scored a zero. Testosterone was over 1000 last time I checked. I'm in my mid 50s. Diet, exercise, recovery, mind, body and spirit are all pieces of the puzzle that it is incumbent on each of us to dial in or pay the price if inaction. This meat exclusivity thing seems to be working out just dandy for me right now.
Nice, that's awesome.
