I searched Poal already and found a bit of info on this but not much. I've watched a ton of videos lately and I'm pretty sold on giving it a shot.

Any Poalers have any experience with the Carnivore diet? 98% of the videos and comments I have seen are positive and if their claims are accurate I think it could be a good decision.

I've been one meal a day 5 days a week for a couple years now and that has gone pretty well. I am thinking of trying carnivore for the health benefits that I have been seeing people talk about.

Yeah, the non-fasting days are typically one meal a day for me. You'd think with how little I actually eat, that I'd be thin, but stupid thyroid (Hashimoto's) really makes that difficult. Especially, since I'm constantly tweaking my meds to keep where I need to be thyroid-wise. Stress will change my numbers or having an allergic reaction can knock them out of whack, too. It's hard for me to avoid allergies just because I live in an apartment complex and my neighbors are awful and the management are useless. Everyone here is obsessed with smoking black and milds and weed and then using air fresheners and lord only knows what else to then cover up the stank. I happen to be allergic to cigarette smoke and have issues with perfumes.

Someday, if I ever get a place where I can fit a decent freezer, I'll give carnivore a try, but for now it's low-ish carb and one meal/fasting. Oh and I love making my own dairy stuff. Just wish I could get heavy cream without freaking gellan gum/carageenan in it. I love homemade yogurt, sour cream, etc.

My woman has Hashimotos too, so she had me look into that and from what I can tell Carnivore is great for it and helps a lot.

Yeah, keto was great for it and I would think carnivore would be amazing. It helped me really get it much more under control. I've knocked my TPO numbers down into the teens with that and selenium.

If you can source raw dairy, do it. I've been part of herdshares for over a decade and the fees are high, but the quality is worth it. Lactose intolerant, but I have no issues with raw, likely because the dairy still has its own digestive enzymes plus natural probiotics.

Helps my seasonal allergies and sinus infections a ton. It can't overcome cigarette smoke bullshit, but it can at least regulate the natural allergens out there. I went from 2-4 sinus infections each year to 0.

That's interesting. My mom does raw milk im Georgia and swears by it. One of her cats had constant eye infections and she used a dropper to put a drop in each eye a couple times a day. After a few days the infection cleared up and never came back.
