Pickup trucks have always been important because they can haul and tow much more equipment than the average vehicle. However, for every person that needs the capabilities of a truck, there are ten more that drive it to attempt to achieve a social status, to create a facade of being country folks even though they live in a rich suburb of a city that is only Southern by a technicality, because nothing says country like driving around in a brand-spanking-new GMC Sierra and blasting Old Town Road.

But enough rambling, what are your thoughts?

I think we’re talking past each other. People out here live on farms. I’d be using that trailer every day if I only had a short bed. Take the car to the dentist. The truck is for work.

The trailer I use is 20 feet long. Bit overkill when I really need a long bed for 99% of farm work.
