Pickup trucks have always been important because they can haul and tow much more equipment than the average vehicle. However, for every person that needs the capabilities of a truck, there are ten more that drive it to attempt to achieve a social status, to create a facade of being country folks even though they live in a rich suburb of a city that is only Southern by a technicality, because nothing says country like driving around in a brand-spanking-new GMC Sierra and blasting Old Town Road.

But enough rambling, what are your thoughts?

New trucks have gotten to the point of being overpriced plastic hogs with too many computers. Older stuff is real and usable and durable. I prefer an IDI turbodiesel.
