You're asking for price transparency. We don't have that anywhere. We like being fooled. People don't want to know what things really cost. EVs are a perfect example. The true cost is deeply hidden with government subsidies because if consumers knew the real cost, they wouldn't buy them. People are impulsive and once they decide they want something, they'll rationalize the purchase. Buy now, pay later is another good example. Buy it now with no money upfront. Make payments later and the cost is double what it should be.
This idea of hiding the cost of things is everywhere. The vaccines are just a different way to hide the true cost of something. The government gives "free" vaccines. Of course, the real price is hidden deep where people cannot see the true cost. First, (((big pharma))) charges a fortune to the government which taxpayers actually pay for. Then there is the hidden cost of injury and death, which they desperately try to hide.
Airlines go to great lengths to hide the real cost of flying in order to entice you to fly with all their extra fees. Restaurants now have many hidden fees like reservation fees, minimum bills, kitchen appreciation fees, "health care" fees, etc. The list goes on and on.
