I moved out on my own in my early 20s and had to start from scratch.

In addition to the aforementioned toilet seat and cleaning products, you'll need cookware. Not just dishes and silverware, but pots and pans. At the very least you'll need a stock pot for pasta, sauces, and soups, a good cast iron fry pan for searing steaks, and an all purpose skillet.

Get yourself some good knives and a quality knife sharpener.
Also get; Coffee pot / tea kettle (depending on preference) a colander reusable storage containers for leftovers a dish-drying rack kitchen towels oven mitts

What's your budget like? Do you want to buy everything at once of a little at a time?

If you can get sewing machine to hem the edges (or find putting in stitches relaxing) you can go to a fabric shop and buy sheets of material. Less expensive and you will not be lied to about the thread count.

I actually had a pretty decent month money-wise, so I can get the neccessary items mostly all at once.

In terms of food, I have altered my diet sufficiently that I only need one nice pan for the meal I cook, one bowl, and one plate, and a nice glass resealable storage vessel.

I do occasionally drunk coffee, and am considering getting a mug as well.

I already have a water bottle, so I don't need a glass or anything.

What I really want is a desk and a chair, and possibly a bed. And I gotta get an internet connection...

Add spatula, wooden spoon, baking pan, sheet pan, broom, dustpan and cutting board to the kitchen list. Extra bath towels and a second set of sheets for the bed as well. Clothes hangers, laundry hamper or tote

I got a lot of these thing from the dollar store. Back when it was still a dollar. Thanks Joe Biden!

I had a standing shower, no tub and no shelf to put the soap on. I got a rack that hung from the shower head.
