Apparently phone was found at work of my friends buddy. They tried to get a hold of the owner but they never responded back. So my friends buddy gave it to my friend. And my friend said well since they tried and they got nothing do you want the phone. I said sure why not. But now I have the phone and I'm thinking did they really try to find the owner? The phone is unlocked so I can browse around. There's Google Gmail on it but it's full so you can't use it. Plus the Gmail account isn't for the person who looks to be the owner. Looking at what's on the phone it looks like the owner is a female juggalo from the Midwest. When I turn it on it shows the carrier. They have a couple of driver's license is on it of various people. I looked up the one that looked like it belonged to the phones owner and it shows them at a new address. My first thought was that they had died, that's why they never got back to the original queries. It seems that they were sharing the phone with various people and doing gig work because I found various driving apps on the phone. What do you all think?

I found a phone a couple of years ago on the side of the road and I was able to give it back to the owner within 48 hours. They were over the moon happy but is this different? This is 7 months and the person never got back to the people who reached out. It's only a few years old and a flagship Samsung phone. I wonder if they had insurance on it and that's why they don't care?

No shit. They want $120 to fix a cracked glass on a phone I paid 160 for.
