That's a bad outcome but the liklihood you'd face that situation is low. To be sure, it's a negative, but I think you'd have to weigh the negative effect proportionately to the liklihood it would actually occur.
I believe divorce is more likely in mixed-race marriages, so there is another one.
I know the likelihood is low, but it's a very emotionally powerful situation that will convince some people a lot better than a chart of crime statistics ever will.

I guess I started this thread to figure out how I feel about the issue, so I was fishing for something that would convince me.
