As a tenor, he is featured in quite a bit - La bohème was one I have heard him in, la triviata is another. I think he was featured in Rigoletto - ive only seen this work live and hes been long dead. Worth a search specifically for his aria's and go from there to see the work in its entirety.

Thanks , I'll search for those performances this weekend. Never really heard female Opera singers . Just a few of the well known male tenors. Id love suggestions for female singers.
For one of the greatest, IMO is Maria Callas. Second is Anna Netrebko.
I haven't had the pleasure to see Anna live. I cannot recall the last show we went to that she is well known for.. I'll edit once I get home
