I thought this was about web browsers. But yeah, got to take my dad to *Die Tote Stadt* before he died, so my mother would get to dress up and go to an opera. It was hilarious to be in the first intermission with my truck driver father, with a CEO looking guy and his wife behind him, while my dad just says, "so if I'm following this, he's batshit crazy and she's a gold digger." The wife was appalled, the guy just nodded sagely. The DSO is doing the entire Ring Cycle this fall -- not the full opera, but the symphonic version (don't remember the term) with all the parts on stage, just not in costume and acting.
