I was a teen in the 90s. I never did the Geocities, MySpace, Facebook thing because I had a stalker as a teen that made me really aware of how easy we are to stalk and find - especially as a geek online. So I never kept in touch in any way.
My brother says all my friends that he knows of (he stayed in the same town for a long time) are dead. Mostly drugs and suicide.
I can take a stab at my few acquaintances that are still alive - miserable with fucked up adult kids, and divorced. Likely alcoholics.
