Indians have rewritten their history to remove us from it. China did the same thing. Indo-European-Caucasian created their civilizations, their ruling class, and their caste system. This created Aryan crossbreeds which brought them into the Aryan camp. In part we know the ordering because it also follows the introduction of equestrians into that region, which were brought there by Aryans. Their caste system was largely driven by genetic association to Indo-European-Caucasian.
