It's on my right pinky and it's a little oversized. I used to use cloth tape on it but that just felt ridiculous. Is there some sort of non-toxic resin that I could add to the finger side of the ring that could keep it in place without giving me hand cancer in 20 years?

No, the will cut the band, take out however much is needed to make fit your finger, and solder it back together. And "solder" may be the wrong technical term, but definitely take it to a jeweler.
