When I was like 3. They just have a new marketing team. Rather than their traditional blue collar, outdoorsy clientele they're branching out to the viral idiot consumer.
Thats like asking when you heard about kleenex. Im old, stanley has always been around.
been using their tape measure for years.
If they are the same company, when I was a kid in the 80s. I had a thermos and lunchbox by them. My dad also had tools labeled Stanley. Dunno if it's the fad cup people. If the fad cup people are different then a week or so ago on here with people posting chimpouts about them.
Stanley tools are unrelated to Stanley cups. I have a lunchbox and thermos by them because I thought they were the same company. I had heard about the fad, and didn't piece it together. I thought they were talking about hockey type thermoses, until a day or two ago when I saw it was just... Cups.
I saw a video where a nigger was upset that her gift was a yetti mug instead of the Stanley that she asked for. A few days later I see a video of someone testing all their mugs for lead and Stanley testing positive. This is how I get the news nowadays.
When I was a kid in the 80s. To me Stanley is synonymous with thermos.
They really hit pay dirt with this cup craze thing. Someone in marketing deserves a raise.
As tools? The 70's. As a cup craze for liberals, like 2-3 months ago.
I vaguely remember the Stanley thermoses, but I didn't know about these fad cups until Babylon Bee made fun of them recently.
I was wasting time on YouTube, last week or so, and clicked on a 'What's up with these Stanley cups?' video out of curiosity. I learned about the latest stupid fad and now I have context for the stupid headlines that pop up.
Since I could read. They make tape measures
