Vineagar works as well, just let it sit a bit longer to take effect. It's good for when bleach might be too strong
I think I'm going to put some of the stuff back outside again in the afternoon. It's kind of crappy though it makes my camp look like I'm a crazy weird mad Max desert cast member.
It sounds like you can travel around a bit. This site ventusky.com has fairly extensive and accurate weather data in an easy to read format. Maybe it can help you dodge the rain a bit
There was no avoiding these last couple storms that blew through they went from the bottom of California all the way to San Simeon and just came right across right to left they lasted 24 hours and dropped like an inch of water. I'm going to wash all the bags on Tuesday that smell. Then I'm going to leave them cracked moving forward to keep the air moving in and out and I'm going to leave cedar filings that come in a pouch just inside the bags. I have to buy a new baking soda odor killer. I wonder if I can use straight alcohol wipes on the outside of my camera equipment?
