Death Valley just had a major rainstorm less than a week ago and the ground is still saturated. Unfortunately though I don't have an oven. It's not so much the optics that are mildewy because they've been covered it's the casings for the equipment that smell.

I used to own a propane heater and that thing was just obnoxious. Now I just use two heating pads hooked up to my portable lithium battery. It works like a charm. One under my feet and one of my lap. The one on the ground radiates enough heat where it heats up some of the surrounding metal and then that radiates up into the van. I mean its not like Florida temperatures but there's a huge difference from outside versus inside.
