The film "Little Big Man" has a scene about this.

One of the great films of all time.

Had 3 with no pain meds. I felt like I was being ripped apart...no way I was able to be quiet during that but I've seen videos of some women peacefully and quietly birthing. Good for them, I wish my experiences were like that.

Spartan women

[–] 2 pts

Most of the spartan stuff is spartan propaganda. They got their ass beat by some toga bros

They were the premier fighting force for about 500 years, for reasons.

Yes there are some religions where women birth quietly because they believe screaming will scare a child for life.

Rare, but it exists. Depends on mother/baby sizes, contractions, psychological endurance of the mother, health...

I have a family member with good german genetics, it was slightly "painful" but nothing like these stick-boned exercise bunnies trying to give birth with their low body fat. Barley got her to the hospital, hop on the table, one push and the kid's out. If that's feasible or possible, then I imagine it's actually much more natural than what we hear about with c-sections and all the other strange compilations.

I think that's as ideal as they come nowadays.

The kid's non-vaxxed in any way, homeschooled and doing well with lots of outdoor meetups with other kids of similar raising. Plays with legos and has their own crafts table (pretty slick with a glue gun these days). Narratively and vocabulary-wise, they seem way beyond kids of the same age, but of course that's comparing to other kids that have been vaxxed & shuffled from schools and parent-less environments.

The next step they're taking is to take them overseas for an extended "world learning" type camp thing. Imo it's a pretty inspiring proof that homeschooling and outdoor activities at a young age bring a level of comfort and competence to experiencing the world. Vastly different than being chaperoned from one cubicle to the other, with other confused and stimulus deprived "students."

Anyways, what made you ask your initial question?

I watched the (great and White) movie A Quiet Place.

Definitely not my wife.

Have you even taken a shit so big you have a sigh of relief. That's probably equivalent

Piss a walnut and do it silently. Childbirth fucking hurts. For hours.

christ that image... shudder

You ask the impossible. How many women do you know can hold their opinions when they aren't in pain?
