Recently noticing black rings are increasingly popular with men. Some wearing on ring finger some on other fingers. What gives? I always read a black ring as being open sexually. Now however I'm seeing pastors and church leaders wearing them. Am I reading this wrong? Anyone here wearing them and why?

The only case where I’ve even considered was as a silicone wedding band while I was working with tools and equipment so I didn’t damage my golden one.

I didn’t even suspect a meaning behind them otherwise, although I’m not remotely surprised.

Word of hygienic warning concerning the silicone safety bands; remove and descum them frequently to prevent moisture trap ring rot, which is it's own brand of digital trauma.

These would be worn for a couple of hours at most.

They're popular in the military. The same thing happens to a grunt's finger when they neglect to practice human levels of cleanliness as happens to their feet when they do not change their socks. Ruin and rot.

All the working class men I know that wear silicone rings wear them 24/7.

From what I known it has to do with swingers and other degeneracy. Nothing good.

So you're saying my sister's a whore?

[–] 1 pt

IDK, give me her number and I'll ask her for you.

My brother in law looks like Ivan from Rocky iv

Historically "swingers" wore them, now it depends on which hand or finger as to what it stands for.

Sort of like back in the olden days when homos wore pinky rings or pierced an ear to high sign another homo.

I remember:

The left ear is the right ear, the right ear is fhe wrong ear.

That's what I knew it as too, I treat it like I still think only faggots have earrings, so wearing a black ring means you're DTF whatever as the kids would say.

DTF whatever is about right. Scary thought.

I see people with those. I heard is was about random thefts and niggers can't pawn rubber rings at pawn shops.

They are just trendy. 99.9% of men wearing them just liked black rings and didn't want to spend $$ on gold. Tungsten is cheap as all hell, and has become totally acceptable to wear as a wedding band for men.

I know a few men who wear them and they definitely aren't trying to send secret faggot signals, even if it is a little gay. Wearing a gold ring is also quite gay to be honest.

Never heard anything about it. Is it an inner city, weird White guy thing? Like an advertisement for their sexual preferences or something?

[–] 1 pt

nope in the country, relatively conservative area too.

Asked someone. Lol. Ok, so, they're made of titanium or tungsten. Probably just 'statement pieces " or they're very hard materials and won't wear/scratch like gold does. That's all. I was wondering what the hell? Lmfao!

[–] 1 pt

yeah statement pieces, what are they stating, at best "I'm so edgy" at worst "I'm a cuck and my wife wants to sleep around" That's the kind of statement I want a religious leader to be representing in front of the congregation every Sunday...??

Are they the cheap plastic rings? I know lots of blue collar guys wear these safety rings so they don't lose a finger if it gets caught on something.

[–] 1 pt

Nope I'm talking real metal rings black as coal... and in a non-working environment. I have a silicone one for working where a real metal one would be dangerous but we're talking a pastor preaching, on youtube video no-less.

Are they zirconium rings? I have one as a wedding band with gold inlay instead of just a plain gold band.

Am I a manwhore unbeknown to me?

I have a carbon fiber ring from Patrick Adair designs. I love it and it looks awesome. It means nothing, other than I have exquisite taste in jewelry.

Faggot

Omg! How did you know!?

Faggot.

I never wore my original white gold ring because being a mechanic. I bought a black stainless one from a mall kiosk a few years ago because black is my favorite color. Its beat to hell now and almost silver anyway... never thought any more about it.

Tungsten. It's stronger than steel and titanium and it's inexpensive.

It also scratches everything you touch.
