I have had the White privilege of my wife's friend being a CPA that was doing our taxes for a while - TBH she worked at H&R and just used their systems/product to do it and we paid her - but she is no longer bothering with all that.

Any suggestions? I was thinking of just simply using H&R since we pretty much already have been.

Turbo Tax is the easiest and much cheaper than TaxAct or H&R. I have an LLC under which I operate two businesses and I have multiple 1099 forms I have to send out. TurboTax makes all of it super easy.

Tax Tip. You can "pay" each of your children up to $12,500 (depending on the State) to "work" for you. Could be as simple as advertising. It's tax free for them, and it's a pretty big write off for you. Only show the big bucks on your taxes if you plan to buy a house or car. Other than that write off everything you can and make them pay you...

I send them a giant stack of paper every year. Fuck that electronic shit.

Amen. My taxes are easy so I download the forms and fill them out and mail them. I hope it really pisses someone off.

Couple years ago I had a crypto card from coinbase that used USDC. Every spend, no matter how small, was a reportable transaction. Had 50 pages downloaded from coinbase that amounted to a $0.01 loss.

I hope someone at the IRS looked at that and cried.

TaxAct. I usually get one of their deals before tax time though they are getting pricey. I have a sole proprietorship so my taxes are slightly more complex and they offer audit protection and other crap like that.

I started with TaxAct many years ago. I think I switched to H&R due to the massive price increase of TaxAct. I've been happy with H&R for the past few years.

Probably dumb but I use Turbo Tax they have all my information from past years so I just keep doing it.

I just use turbotax or H&R depending on which offers the best deal or which one I can find a discount for.

Since I started trading stocks, its important that I can use a service which allows for forms to be uploaded.

I use the HMR Blockhead software. I used to use TurboTax, but that shit is expensive and made by a company that should have been replaced a decade or so ago (H&R should have also seen that fate, but they at least have lots of competition).

I use Cash App. They offer free tax filing for state and federal. Although you have to enter everything manually which is annoying. But i work on a little bit each day and get it done in about 2 weeks.

Everyone pays my taxes for me so no need to file nigger
